The responsibilities of the Captive Account Manager include:
- Acting as primary contact for clients to ensure that they are serviced with excellence
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all captive service providers
- Negotiating terms with the various captive service providers
- Reviewing and interpreting various financial reports in order to deliver recommendations on operational items to the captive board
- Organizing and attending board meetings, to include preparing the agenda, attaining board input and approval, and identifying and scheduling speakers
- Educating internal sales team on the criteria needed to be eligible for membership in captives
- Participating in sales calls as needed to explain the benefits of captive ownership
The qualifications for this position are:
- 5+ years of insurance experience (marketing, underwriting, account management, or sales)
- Insurance Designations preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Business-related major
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Articulate oral and written communication skills
- PC skills, to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
