Medical Associates Clinic, located in Dubuque, Iowa is seeking a doctoral level psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) to join our well-established, thriving multidisciplinary practice in the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology. This full-time generalist position primarily consists of individual outpatient assessment and psychotherapy, with occasional opportunities for inpatient consultation. Interested candidates must be licensed or license eligible in Iowa and be listed on the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess client's needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods. Devise and monitor appropriate programs of treatment, including therapy, counseling or advise in collaboration
Provide psychotherapy services to groups and/or couples/families.
Provide services to medical patients as requested by the primary physicians.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: Equivalent to a Doctorate degree (PhD)
