Graphic Design Internship from May until mid to late August up to 40 hrs (could start in Spring for 10-15 hrs/wk if school schedule allows)
Kendall Hunt Publishing Company is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic graphic design intern to join its design team. This position will assist with book cover designs and clerical duties. The intern will work closely with other designers and design manager will oversee and approve designs. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal clients and have a strong eye for design.
- Design book covers and collateral materials
- Photo Research
- Following design instructions and feedback from authors and internal clients
- Organize, prioritize, and manage multiples cover projects
- Troubleshoot files supplied by authors
- Complete checklists and cover approval forms
- Organize and archive computer files
Prefer student in graphic design major. Must be creative, organized, detail-oriented and reliable. Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator is required.
