Express Employment Professionals in Platteville WI is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a company in SW WI.
This is a direct hire position.
Job duties include:
-Ensure that all utilities (i.e. refrigeration, electrical, steam, compressed air systems, etc.) are in proper working order to support production. Troubleshoot machinery and process systems in the event of breakdowns.
- Responsible for the overall performance of the plant’s maintenance department, including coaching and developing team
-Assist in development and implementation of the plant’s R&M budget and monitor cost relative to equipment repairs and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, venders, consultants, and suppliers
- Provide adequate physical plant capacity for present and anticipated future process requirements. Ensure refrigeration and boiler systems meet regulatory and industry compliance with all regulatory departments. Coordinate activities relative to solid waste and hazardous material handling. Assist in development of in-plant recycling programs.
-5 or more years in a maintenance mechanic/electrician role
-3-4 years’ experience supervising a team in a manufacturing plant
-Experience in a food industry preferred
