Work hours will be days, for 80 hours per pay period. You will be required to flex to other shifts as needed.
The Activities Coordinator position will be located in the Behavioral Health Unit.
The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supervising therapeutic activities as appropriate for the client(s). Will document activities according to procedure. Will utilize the CQI process as a basis to assure optimum care. They will need to demonstrate appropriate and effective communication with client(s), families and care team members. Must work collectively with the department director to provide the best care and will be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Must have a Bachelor Degree in Recreational Therapy or related area. Candidates with previous education and work experience working with psychiatirc patients in a recretional therapeutic setting are preferred and will be considered more qualified.
