  • Facilitates event strategy including agendas, materials, and messaging, as well as regular review of strategy to determine if any changes are needed.
  • Oversees the coordination and execution of the Cartegraph national user conference
  • Researches and determines the logistics of all regional and national trade shows, user groups and corporate meetings, including location research, scheduling, travel, accommodations, and meeting set-up.
  • Assists in creation of departmental budget and yearly event planning.
  • Manages costs for individual events, ensuring they stay within the overall events budget
  • Takes initiative to set and achieve goals for each event, understanding how individual behavior drives team and company performance
  • Tracks sales enablement metrics for each event including number of marketing qualified leads, opportunities, and revenue generated
  • Completes all paperwork for each event including contracts, credit applications and internal accounting documentation.
  • Works with the marketing team to develop and execute event marketing plans including website, email, social media, search engine marketing and other efforts
  • Creates registration materials and oversees registration for each event including appropriate attendee communication.
  • Selects and manages event organization software
  • Leverages Hubspot and Salesforce CRM to manage lists, lead input, process improvement, and internal communication.
  • Educates event staff on logistics, materials and registrations.
  • Prepares and packages event materials and ships in a timely, economical fashion.
  • Assists with ordering and managing marketing materials and swag
  • Possesses knowledge of Cartegraph products, services and target audience.
  • Collaborates with leadership to elevate internal events and streamline processes.
  • Works effectively with all departments within Cartegraph.
  • Understands, reinforces and evolves the Cartegraph brand experience.
  • Travels as needed for event management



  • Performs miscellaneous related duties as requested by management.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures



  • Four-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field, plus two years of prior event-related work experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Hubspot, Salesforce, and event management software preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and work extra hours if needed
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to a diverse group of people.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Accurate writing, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills required.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and the possession of tact, integrity, and common sense.
  • Approachable demeanor.
  • High energy, enthusiasm and initiative
