Unified Therapy Services, established in 2006, is a pediatric focused outpatient clinic serving our clientele with physical, occupational and speech therapy needs with a collaborative approach that includes a team of therapists, physicians, medical professionals, care staff, patients and families. Unified Therapy Services' facility has eleven kid-friendly private treatment rooms, a large gym/play area, and a space that simulates a fully functionable apartment. This location is pediatric focused, however; we have expanded to include adults at Unified Therapy Services and Unified Therapy Health Services.
Unified Therapy Services is excited to announce an expansion of our practice to a second location: Unified Therapy Health Services. This is an outpatient physical therapy clinic that specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries and conditions. We also see industrial and workman’s compensation injury rehabilitation at our facility. As part of our industrial rehab we are able to perform pre-employment screenings, incumbent evaluations, return to work/functional capacity evaluations (FCE’s), and joint comparisons utilizing standardized isokinetic testing.

Unified Therapy Services is a pediatric-focused outpatient clinic in Dubuque, IA offering physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services. Within our 8,800 square feet facility we address each patient’s individual needs with ten private treatment rooms, a large gym, and a simulated apartment. Assesses patient and determines treatment plan using approved evaluation documents.
Understands and complies with universal precautions, safety and risk policies and procedures.
Prepares necessary documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and logs in timely manner according to regulations.
Consults with other members of rehabilitation team to select treatment programs consistent with needs and capabilities of individual and to coordinate comprehensive services delivery.
Trains individuals in skills and techniques required for participation in activities and evaluates individual’s functional progress.
Designs and constructs adaptive equipment for individual and recommends adaptation of individual’s work-living environment to maximize independence.
Assists with orientation of new staff, volunteers and students.
Utilizes and maintains equipment, requests supplies as needed.
Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the occupational therapy department.
Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family.
