Assist district-wide bookstore manager with bookstore operations.
Assist students with textbook, supply, and other defined purchases based on their academic schedule.
Perform cash register sales, credit card transactions, and charging to financial aid accounts.
Reconcile daily receipts for deposit on designated bookstore software.
Process customer refunds for book returns.
Complete book returns to vendors in designated time frames.
Process book and other related orders as requested.
Assist in preparation for inventory and counting of inventory items monthly/yearly.

Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to multi-task effectively. Personal qualities of a strong work ethic, professional integrity, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and deses of humor. Equally effective with taking direction, working in teams, or working independently. Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively. Compute skills/training to include word processing and spreadsheet applications. Bookkeeping skills to include receipting, posting, and depositing of funds. Experience with cash register operation preferable. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on an occasional basis. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
