Due to a promotion, we have an opening for a Human Resources Coordinator to administer the daily HR functions for the employee owners of the Woodward Community Media (WCM) division. In the Tri-state area, you may recognize our respected brands of TH Media, Dyersville Commercial, Cascade Pioneer, Eastern Iowa Shopping News, Woodward Printing Services, and the Grant-Iowa-Lafayette Shopping News.
This is a highly respected HR position that will have varied responsibilities with HRIS management, recruiting & new-hire orientation, OSHA reporting, and a variety of administrative functions. Qualified applicants will have at least one year of experience in an office environment, preferably in human resources. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification is highly preferred. Confidentiality, discretion and excellent communication skills are required.
This position will require occasional travel for recruiting, community events and to visit WCM locations. As a result, a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of insurance is required.
