First-Line Supervisor of Retail Sales Workers

DIRECT HIRE- $15.00/HOUR

 

Summary of Role:

 To assist/support the store manager and assistant managers in operating a store that creates an atmosphere to maximize customer service, associate morale, training, sales, and profits.

 

Qualifications:

6-12 months retail experience

Must pass NHRA test within 3 months of hire

 

 Essential Job Responsibilities:

The extent of the following essential job functions and responsibilities necessary will be determined by management according to need.

 

Duties:

  1. Will assist managers/assistants in duties such as:
    1. Insuring proper coverage throughout departments
    2. Help identify projects and coordinate completion
    3. Provide input into performance evaluations
    4. Perform or assist with scheduling and time clock functions
    5. Assist with customer service issues
    6. Monitor associate productivity and intervene as necessary
    7. Carry out directives of the mangers as requested
    8. Procedures, dress code, name tags, paperwork
  2. Must be available and able to perform all duties required of key carries including, but not limited to:
    1. Opening and closing functions
    2. Prep of cash drawers
    3. Liaison between manager and hourly associates
  3. Must be able to perform tasks normally required of associates in the majority of classifications including, but not limited to:
    1. Assisting customers with their needs, providing excellent customer service
    2. Assisting customers with load outs (lifting up to 60#)
    3. Running cash register as needed
    4. Assisting with straightening, facing and recovery
    5. Working on loads
    6. Other duties as requested by management
