The Telegraph Herald, a daily newspaper with a circulation of 25,000 in Dubuque, Iowa, seeks talented interns to join our news team. Be a part of a hard-working, aggressive newsroom aiming to produce the best newspaper in the state, both in print and online.
Our interns get a real taste of the business. You won’t be fetching coffee or making copies – you will have a chance to play an active role in our news organization. And at the end of the summer, you will have an abundance of experience and a full collection of work to show future employers. Internships typically start in May and run 10 to 12 weeks (but we make sure it’s always long enough for you to meet your college’s requirements, if there are any). These are paid, full-time 40-hour per week internships.
