Position Hours: This position works every Tuesday and every-other Friday, from 7:30a-4p . Call availability is needed for rotational weeknights and every-other weekend at the most. There is lots of opportunity to pick up additional hours to cover PTO requested by colleagues.
Under general supervision, performs radiologic procedures in the CT area. The age of the patients served range from infants to geriatrics.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Registered CT technologist is highly preferred. Graduate of a CT training program or proof of completing advanced coursework that qualifies technologist for the registry exam is accepted. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Possess a current permit to practice diagnostic radiography for the Iowa Department of Public Health. Minimum of one-year clinical experience in general diagnostic radiology preferred. Cross-training for mammography will also be required.
