Kendall Hunt is a customized textbook publisher in Higher Education, K-12 and Religious markets and we currently have an internship opportunity at our Dubuque headquarters for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with great written and verbal communication skills to join our team. The internship is for the spring and summer.
About the Job
In this internship you will assist the Religious department with day-to-day editorial responsibilities, such as proof reviews, checklist completion and tracking of program reviews. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing a minimum of two to three blog posts per week. Topics will include educational trends related to education and promote key features of specific products that are foundational to the specific customized programs that are developed.
Duties may include:
- Develop and create art logs for programs
- Update and track program assessments
- Check confirming page proofs for customized programs
- Establish a plan for scheduling content updates for weekly blogs, website updates and social media related content
- Write and rewrite product line blogs for the traditional and nontraditional classroom markets
- Interview program authors to create articles and blogs
- Work on editing content that directly ties to our customized product lines
