Information Systems Technician

Your Responsibilities

  • As an Information Systems Technician I, your primary responsibility includes:
  • Provide first level telephonic support and triage for end users
  • Routes technical problem solving resolution to appropriate Information Systems staff
  • Provide technical problem solving resolution for Hillcrest Family Services staff
  • Set up, install, move and/or remove equipment



What you need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required Courses completed in a relevant field of study preferred. Certification a plus
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, additional languages preferred
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Networking (TCP/IP), Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of functions and capabilities of computing equipment, networking, software, and their applications
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, developments and techniques of providing computing services in a business environment
  • Knowledge of relevant programming and job control languages
  • Knowledge of computer security procedures
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of systems and applications programming Knowledge of the principles of problem determination, and have good troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to establish and maintain good documentation practices
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues through phone or desk-side support
  • Above average analytical, problem solving, verbal, telephone and written skills
