The University seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Senior Network Systems Administrator. This is the lead position in the planning, implementation, administration, and support of the entire campus network.
Responsibilities include the configuration and administration of the Windows network; the configuration and maintenance of both physical and virtual servers including Windows, Mac, Unix, Exchange, database and web servers and related software; the design and administration of the campus network infrastructure; the administration of common TCP/IP-based services including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP and SMTP; web server security and administration.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; minimum 5 years progressive experience in network support and system administration; experienced with Microsoft Active Directory/LDAP authentication and group policies, VMWare and virtual servers, O365, wireless, and Microsoft Exchange; knowledge of SAN solutions and enterprise-level backup systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively are required.
