Typically works in the diet office with the hours of 5:15 am-1:45 pm, 6:45 am-3:15 pm and/or 11:00 am-7:30 pm. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for completing and processing patient menus and nourishments to assure compliance with diet orders. Responsible for using computer software systems to ensure patient safety with dietary restrictions and accuracy of meal tickets. Assist with patient tray and nourishment delivery to floors. Provides proper phone etiquette and customer service for all age groups from infants to elderly.
Customers include: patients, families, visitors, physicians, interdepartmental and intradepartmental co-workers.
1. High School diploma.
2. Computer skills and basic knowledge of software applications.
3. Basic knowledge of modified diets.
Starting wage: $12.39
