MercyOne Medical Center is a not for profit Catholic hospital serving the tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin since 1879. MercyOne – Dubuque has 263 beds while MercyOne – Dyersville is a critical access hospital with 25 beds and a 40-bed nursing home.

Under the general direction of the Director of Imaging Services, provides for the coordination of Mercy Medical Center’s Nuclear Medicine Department. Assists in developing and implementing the objectives, standards of care, and the policies and procedures of Nuclear Medicine. Role models behaviors, which cultivates compassion and service quality. Serves as a clinical resource for the staff working in Nuclear Medicine.
Performs Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography procedures. In doing so, assists in calibrating equipment and administering radiation. The age of the patients served range from infants to geriatrics. As the PET-CT Technologist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating daily operations to ensure quality patient care.
Registered with C.N.M.T. Possess a current permit to practice as a nuclear medicine technologist for the Iowa Department of Public Health. Workflow management experience is a must to be able to optimize efficiencies of the scanner and resources of the PET facility including control room, hot lab, and injection rooms. Three to five years' dedicated experience in Nuclear Medicine.
