The Rehabilitation Supervisor is accountable for the direct supervision and coordination of Rehab unit operations and clinical outcomes. Provides leadership and promotes team building amongst the staff. Facilitates communication amongst staff, management and other customers. Responsible for effective implementation of policies, procedures and standards. Performs duties in clinical capacity as needed. Supervisor will identify opportunities for clinical care of staff and maintaining unit census. Responsible for identifying physician practice patterns, supply and equipment utilization and staff utilization. Monitors significant departmental trends that can shift/affect the business unit.
Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing required. Certification in Rehab or leadership required within 2 years of hire. Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training are required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
