This position will be located at the Family Practice Clinic located on Pennsylvania Avenue in Dubuque. Work hours will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, for 80 hours per pay period.
Our Family Practice Clinics are located in Cascade, Peosta, and on Pennsylvania Avenue in Dubuque. The Cascade and Peosta Clinics are also walk-in care clinics. Our Pennsylvania Avenue Clinic location also houses our Women's Health and Behavioral health Clinics. The general hours of operation for our Family Practice Clinics are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, other than Cascade, which is open from 8:30 am-5:00 pm and closed on Thursdays.
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service and office reception for the clinic. This includes greeting patients and visitors, patient registration including updating patient demographics and insurance verification, collecting co-payments, answering phones and taking appropriate messages, scheduling patient appointments and accurate scanning of medical records into patient electronic medical records.
Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma/GED, excellent customer service skills and strong computer skills. Must obtain BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 90 days of start date.
