The Salesforce Administrator must be customer focused while overseeing all aspects of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in coordinating with multiple departments, creating and improving processes, managing resources, and leveraging the Salesforce platform. The administrator will work closely with executives, key stakeholders and business line experts to identify, develop, and deploy new reports, analyses, and business processes related to our use of Salesforce throughout our organization. This role is part customer service, part project manager, part administrator, and part business and data analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.



  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 100+ users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development and business workflow requests
  • Establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities related to Salesforce
  • Work with executive team to build reporting, dashboards, and other analytics to support operation of the business and strategic decision making
  • Assist in training of new users, and growing the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between stakeholders, users, and Salesforce resources, consultants, and integrated third-party applications.
  • Work independently with stakeholders to define, analyze, and document user requirements
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned because we’re constantly changing and growing

  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, processes, and users



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ is preferable
  • Experience with third-party apps a plus (e.g., FinancialForce, Gainsight, etc.)
  • Experience administering Salesforce for a fast paced SaaS company is preferred
  • Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Experience developing training materials and providing training support to end users is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements



Minimal travel (up to 20%) required.
