In the Load Planning Representative position, you will be responsible for the overall customer experience as it pertains to cost effective and on time transportation. The purpose of this position will be to ensure that the shipments are routed following the Client’s routing Rules of Engagement (ROE) and meeting the Clients shipment schedule requirements. Measurement of shipment performance, on time delivery and cost savings are critical Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that will assist in defining success in the position. As a Load Planning Representative you will be responsible for driving client and Rockfarm value.
Your position will be critical in executing the optimization of our client’s supply chain through the use of our technology which supports our integrated TMS. Management of the carrier base to on time pickup and delivery measurements generated through the planning, tendering and execution of our Client’s shipments will be critical to ensure our Client’s delivery requirements are met. This role is critical to the evolving partnership between Rockfarm and our Client.
Load Planning Representative Responsibilities:
Execute efficient and effective pick up of scheduled shipments for the Rockfarm Client and Client Vendors
Optimize shipment routings by identifying all potential modes and their service times and costs
Execute efficient routing of Client Shipments both inbound and outbound per the ROE’s established by each Client
Responsible for follow up with Booked carriers to ensure ETA’s are accurate and service expectations will be met for the Rockfarm Client
Monitor and report carrier provider performance metrics and issues to the Provider Development and Client Relations teams
Identify routing enhancements that may include sourcing of new carrier providers
Leverage in house fulfillment channel to drive cost savings for Rockfarm Clients while also driving Margin for Rockfarm
Communicate procurement needs to the Provider Development team
Analyze and report cost metrics and cost savings to the Client Relations Team
Fluid communication daily with Client Relations to allow them to proactively communicate with the Rockfarm Client
