The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for developing proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment and sourcing strategies to develop a diverse pool of qualified applicants. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with hiring managers and provides an excellent candidate experience for potential MercyOne colleagues. Provides consultative services including workforce planning, regular reporting and development of sourcing strategies. Work activities include, but are not limited to, attracting and identifying candidates, managing the recruitment process,candidate screening/interviewing/selection decision making, job offer creation and guiding newly hired colleagues through the onboarding process. Utilizes established compensation guidelines to determine compensation offers, which may include performing equity analysis.
Will use electronic media, social networking, internet research, candidate mining and professional organizations to source candidates and build talent pipelines to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates. Conducts cold and warm calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult and visible positions. Promotes MercyOne/Trinity Health as the employer of choice. This position reports to the Regional Director of Human Resources. Selected candidate must possess a comprehensive knowledge of talent acquisition, human resources, employment laws and regulations as typically obtained through the completion of a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a related field with three (3) years of talent acquisition experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical abilities are required in this position, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, particularly Excel proficiency. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional organizational skills which include the flexibility to prioritize multiple,competing priorities. Must be detail-orientated and able tocomplete multiple tasks/projects in a timely, efficient,organized and accurate manner.
Strong interpersonal,consultative, relationship-building and conflict management skills are required to collaborate with leadership as a credible, valued business partner in a high performance environment. Must display a commitment to diversity and have a proven customer service orientation and mindset.
