MercyOne Medical Center is a not for profit Catholic hospital serving the tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin since 1879.  MercyOne – Dubuque has 263 beds while MercyOne – Dyersville is a critical access hospital with 25 beds and a 40-bed nursing home.

We specialize in care for cardiac, cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, complex medical, stroke, and trauma ICU patients. ICU uses a team scheduling approach to ensure adequate coverage as well as flexibility for colleagues. Scheduling requirements include weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. Work is completed in collaboration with the respiratory, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, cardiac rehab, nutrition, hospitalists, pulmonologists, cardiologist, cardiovascular surgeons, and other specialty providers. Goals for patient are team focused and multidisciplinary.

• must hold an active Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Iowa

• a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required within 4 years of hire (tuition assistance provided as an employment benefit)
