Under close supervision, is responsible for assisting the Physical, Occupational and/or Speech Therapy staff in routine patient care activities. Possesses the skills necessary to provide direct patient care specific to each age group in accordance with department protocol. The age of the patients served range in age from infants to geriatrics.
High School Graduate. Previous patient care experience preferred. Experience in a Rehabilitation Department preferred. Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred. Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
