We are looking for a PRN staff to work as a Homecare Aide in our Elkader, IA location. The PRN position will be on an as needed basis. As a PRN employee you will be required to work a minimum of (1) 8 hour shift per month, but you can pick up more than that if you would like. The Homecare Aides do go into homes to perform the work.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have completed the 75 hour CNA course. Previous Homecare Aide experience is preferred. This position does require you to drive, therefore you will need to have an active driver license as well as complete a driving record check upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care: bathing & actvities of daily living.
- Performs cleaning, laundy, meal preparation, grocery shopping and any other homemaking services to achieve a safe, sanitary living environment.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with clients and co-workers.
- Notify supervisory staff of any observations regarding client health conditions, client requests, scheduling concerns, etc...
- Documents work time, mileage, services provided and client observations accurately and on time.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the dpartment and with external contacts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
