Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and correct procedures for monitoring accuracy and quality of data
- Write and maintain stored procedures and functions to extract, transform and report on data
- Design, develop and generate reports to meet the needs of users across campus
- Create forms and workflows to assist in improving processes and data flow between and within departments across campus
- Document all procedures so they can be understood and supported by other team members
- Provide recommendations and technical expertise regarding data in all University systems
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University’s Mission
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Bachelor’s degree with computer emphasis is preferred
- Must have a strong understanding of relational database applications
- Strong understanding of process and workflow development
- Experience with TSQL in developing SQL scripts, procedures and functions is required
- Experience using report writers, preferably SQL Server Reporting Services is required
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be self-motivated and highly responsible
- Ability to work independently as well as work collaboratively with others, and to be an effective team member
