This position is eligible for a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus!
Work hours will be days, for 80 hours per pay period, and as needed. You will be required to flex to second shift as needed. There is a holiday and a weekend rotation.

Qualifications
Pharmacy Tech registration from the Iowa Board of Pharmacy is required. Must be able to understand and apply basic computer skills and record data accurately. Must understand pharmaceutical calculations and have an understanding of basic pharmacy law and protocols. Must communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers and physicians' offices. Must be able to make outbound calls and take inbound calls from patients, vendors, and medical personnel. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt and change with the pace of work flow.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Tech works under the supervision of a Pharmacist to help prepare and give out prescription medication and deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service. Takes prescriptions over the phone and in person, works with health professionals and customers, helps mix medicines, counts pills, measures medications, and labels and gives instructions for medicine.
