This is a temporary position. We are looking for a PRN statff to help fill in for the Hospital Screener role here at Finley. Work hours will be as needed per the department needs. We are looking for someone that is available Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. This position will be used to fill in holes of the schedule, will cover call ins and any planned scheduled time offs for current staff. 

Greets patients and visitors entering the hospital and asks a few questions regarding their current health and possible exposure to viruses. Responsible for taking each person’s temperature. Interacts in a customer-focused and compassionate manner to ensure patients and visitors feel welcomed and comfortable entering the facility.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcomes patients and visitors entering the facility, asks a few questions regarding their current health and possible exposure to viruses, takes their temperature using a digital thermometer and records all answers/info on a paper form.
• Arranges or assists with patient transport as necessary.
• May provide wayfinding assistance to patients/visitors and may perform basic clerical/ administrative duties as needed.
