Job Overview

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant- in the Physician Assistant Department  for the 2021-2022 term, with a potential renewal for 2022-2023.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate events and assist with planning
  • Assist with marketing materials and social media
  • Assist with program assessment
  • Generate reports for the Physician Assistant Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University’s Mission

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters’ program
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel spreadsheet, Outlook, Data entry technology, PowerPoint, Word, Internet, Search engines, and social media)
  • Flexibility with schedule as need arises (ex. evening or weekend commitments)
  • Utilize excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects at a given time
  • Maintain a professional appearance

 

All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA.  In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
