The University is currently seeking a qualified individual to assume the role of Cashier in the Dining Hall for the Department of Dining Services. This is a 10-month, hourly position (40 hours per week). The Cashier is the first point of contact with students and guests in the Dining Hall and is responsible for checking in students and processing cash and credit transactions. The Cashier also assists with the set-up, maintaining and cleanliness of, and closing of the Dining Hall.
Qualifications
A High School diploma or GED and 2-4 years of experience in a similar position is required or equivalent education and experience. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel), and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to interact with a variety of departments, students, parents, faculty and staff in a positive manner is critical.
