Your Responsibilities
As a Machine Evaluation Product Consultant for John Deere Construction located in Dubuque, Iowa, you will….
- Manage responsibilities between the Product Comparison and Excavator Product group
- Support the Product Comparison Team in development and execution of studies as an expert operator and grade control site specialist
- Work with the Excavator PDP team to evaluate our new products and ensure they meet the needs of our customers
- Engage with customers & dealers to understand industry expectations, drive changes to our product designs and testing procedures

What Skills You Need
- 5 or more years of experience operating construction equipment of multiple platforms and OEMs in the field
- 3 or more years of experience utilizing grade control technology in field operations with the ability to build/create models
- 3 or more years’ experience working with PDP teams tuning and improving performance to meet customer needs
- 3 or more years of years’ experience in face-face communication with dealers & customers
- Experience working with production systems i.e., roadbuilding, site development
What Makes You Stand Out
- Excavator specific performance tuning
- Competitive OEM construction equipment operation experience
- Topcon, Trimble, & Leica technology experience
- Experience working with a global team
- Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
