Clarke University is currently seeking a qualified professional to assume the role of Digital Media & Events Specialist. This position is responsible for activities related to the creation, distribution, and management of digital media & signage, audiovisual technology, live events, and IT tech support. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule and support AV equipment
- Purchase, install and maintain AV equipment
- Work with the Theatre Director in Residence to set up and operate AV equipment for events
- Support classroom instruction technology
- Manage the AV budget
- Assist the IT Help Desk as an ancillary team member
- Support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint/portal, and Office 365, and MS Power Apps as part of the IT team
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree along with prior technical experience, with specific experience in audio visual preferred. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this position interacts with various constituents within the college (faculty, staff and students).
