Job Overview
- Coordinate daily benefit processing: enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, disability, accident and death claims, etc.
- Maintain employee benefit files and update employee payroll records
- Assist in developing communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package
- Distribute materials for benefits orientations, summary plan descriptions, etc.
- Manage FMLA/ADA process as warranted
- Assist in coordinating employee background checks and drug screenings
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of new hire paperwork
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
- Communicate with employees through e-mail, phone and face-to-face correspondence
- Occasional travel required
- Work toward continuous improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
- High School Diploma, GED or continuing education
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
- Previous customer service experience
- College degree in Business and/or Human Resources
- Previous benefits administration or human resource experience
- Previous management experience
- PHR or SPHR certification
