Due to a promotion, we have an opening for a Human Resources Coordinator to administer the daily HR functions for the employee owners of the Woodward Community Media (WCM) division. In the Tri-state area, you may recognize our respected brands of TH Media, Dyersville Commercial, Cascade Pioneer, Eastern Iowa Shopping News, Woodward Printing Services, and the Grant-Iowa-Lafayette Shopping News.
This is a highly respected HR position that will have varied responsibilities with HRIS management, recruiting & new-hire orientation, OSHA reporting, and a variety of administrative functions. Most importantly, this professional will respond to our employee owners with a focus on customer satisfaction. Not one day is the same as the next. Qualified applicants will have at least one year of experience in an office environment, preferably in human resources. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification is highly preferred. Confidentiality, discretion and excellent communication skills are required.
This position will require occasional travel for recruiting, community events and to visit WCM locations. As a result, a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of insurance is required.
