The Dubuque YMCA / YWCA is hiring for several child care positions! We are offering part-time positions, with competitive wages.. All positions include a free Y membership and meals are provided if your shift is during mealtime. No nights or weekends are required and we are closed most holidays! Eligible for hiring bonus, retention bonus, and training bonus!

This position is perfect for high school and college students looking for experience.

Qualified candidates will:

• Provide a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging
• Be familiar (or willing to become familiar) with child management techniques and appropriate child behavior
• Assists, following CACFP food programming guidelines, with snack preparation, serving, and clean up.
• Be familiar (or willing to become familiar) with DHS regulations and obtain educational requirements as required by DHS
• Stay up to date in trends in discipline challenges and behavior management techniques including redirection and conflict management
