Job Overview
A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. has a full-time opportunity for Sales Order Entry in our Customer Service department.
Responsibilities include; but not limited to:
- Accurately inputting sales orders and sales sample orders into the computer system.
- Figuring discounts and special pricing.
- Processing confirmations on orders.
- Assisting customers with orders by phone, fax or email.
- Handling requests for return goods, credits, specification sheets, stock checks, fab sheets, catalogs and price sheets.
- Processing part number requisition forms and adding new customers when necessary.
- Contacting customers to verify part numbers and pricing issues on purchase orders.
- Assisting with overflow of incoming phone calls.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two years related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, software programs and the internet.
- Candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills.
