Job Overview
Position Description:
- Develop and execute MedOne’s overall sales strategy along with a tactical plan structured to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Develop and execute market strategies for specific target market segments and geographies
- Build relationships with intermediaries and channel partners to obtain new pipeline opportunities and increase win rates
- Coordinate, prepare for and lead sales meetings via phone, webinar and in-person (at MedOne and off-site locations) as required
- Participate in finalizing contract terms and transition to implementation and account management teams
- Report sales activities to VP of Sales and Marketing and leadership team with respect to: sales pipeline, lead generation, proposals, win rate, status of opportunities, channel partnerships, report and maintain prospective clients in a CRM system, work outside of normal business hours as required, and travel to prospective client sites up to 75% of time.
Position Requirements:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Detailed knowledge and expertise of brokers and consultants within the employee benefits self-insurance marketplace and PBM industry
- Proven ability to identify prospects and develop key relationships
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build, qualify and convert pipeline opportunities
- Proficiency using PowerPoint (or similar presentation software) to effectively create and deliver a sales pitch
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience effectively using a CRM system
