Dubuque Finley Hospital
This position will be located in our Employee Health Department at Finley Hospital.
This is a full-time Paramedic position working 80 hours per pay period. Work hours will vary between the hours of 6:30 am and 7:00 pm.
We are looking for a Paramedic to work in our Employee Health Department. This position will work independently with oversight from Dr. Jill Hunt, Medical Director of Occupational Health. The position will be responsible for completing employee health assessments, employee drug screenings, collaborating in case management for injured employees with Occupational Health, updating and complying with regulatory requirements, participating in and facilitating educational programs in conjunction with our Education Department, and maintaining employee health records. This position will work closely with Occupational Health, the third party administrator for work comp injuries, Education and Human Resources to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, enjoy processing paperwork and record keeping, has basic computer skills, and is willing to learn. Experience working in a hospital-setting or medical office will be plus. The candidate will need to have a Paramedic EMT-P.
