We are seeking an exempt-level Divisional Planning Manager to lead the apparel planning team who excels at in-depth analysis and enjoys working cross-functionally to utilize sales and profitability indicators to drive business performance. What You’ll Do As Divisional Planning Manager you’ll work collaboratively with our Planning, Inventory, Sourcing & Merchandising teams to develop divisional, category and product level financial and inventory plans. You will analyze merchandise profitability and sales trends, measure performance relative to budget and historical benchmarks, and identify financial sales/inventory risk and opportunities. You’ll be responsible for: •Partnering with merchandising, inventory & sourcing teams to execute divisional/category merchandise strategy and deliver financial targets. •Building tops/down, bottom/up sales and inventory plans. •Performing in-depth analyses of sales, margin, profitability and inventory. •Managing product through its entire lifecycle. Making markdown pricing recommendations and developing exit strategies. •Ensuring that Inventory levels satisfy demand and meet financial objectives associated with fulfillment, turnover, and profitability. •Effectively communicating pre-season financial plans and in-season business performance. •Leading team of apparel planners. What It Takes We need a leader with significant experience analyzing sales and profitability information and professional level communication skills, who thrives on driving results through tangible data analysis in a team environment. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's degree in a Business, Retail, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Economics or Statistics discipline and 5+ years’ of statistical and data analysis experience related to inventory and planning. In addition, we are looking for: •5+ years’ merchandise planning/inventory management experience •2+ years’ leadership &/or management experience •Strong leadership skills •Excellent written and oral communication •An extensive knowledge and use of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, building worksheets).
