Medical Associates Clinic offers several locations from which to seek medical care, including facilities at 1500 Associates Drive, 1000 Langworthy, and 1940 Elm Street in Dubuque, Iowa; as well as facilities in Bellevue, Cascade, Dyersville, Elkader, and Monona, Iowa; Cuba City, and Platteville, Wisconsin; and Elizabeth and Galena, Illinois.
This is a day shift position with varying start and end times anywhere from 6am to 6pm, Monday - Friday. This position does include a minimal saturday rotation. This is a full time benefits eligible position working approximately 80 hours in a two week pay period. Previous phlebotomy experience a plus
Collect laboratory specimens from patients of all age groups and instruct patients for special laboratory testing.
Perform venipuncture, arterial pucnturespunctures and capillary fingersticks or heelsticks punctures; collect other laboratory specimens; instruct patients of all ages on collections of laboratory specimens; and properly identify and label laboratory specimens.
Access and create patient orders; and perform data entry of laboratory test results.
Provide back up for receptionists duties as required.
