Clarke University is currently recruiting for a temporary (10 week) Traveling Admissions Representative. This position implements recruitment plans to recruit students from a regional and national geographic territory to become part of the Clarke University student body. Responsibilities include traveling and representing Clarke University at college fairs, high schools and churches locally, regionally, and nationally; speaking to and advising prospective students on college choice, academic and career planning, and serving as an information source and advocate for students and parents; gaining and applying knowledge of admissions practices; and having knowledge of Clarke University, particularly as it relates to the university’s mission, academic programs, financial aid, and campus activities.
A bachelor's degree is required. Previous office experience a plus. A high degree of computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, databases, and web-based software is a plus. A successful employee will be self-motivated and require minimal supervision, with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Outstanding time management and organization skills required. Extensive travel will be required including weekend and evening work.
