Administers, directs, and oversees Supply Chain Management operations for Mercy Medical Center - Dubuque and Dyersville. Creates an environment of good stewardship and excellent customer service through cost management strategies and a supporting infrastructure. Responsiblities include, but are not limited to inventory, distribution and replenishment strategies for all functions within the healthcare setting. Leads and facilitates value analysis and technology assessment activities, develops recommendations and implements strategies related to product standardization and utilization across the Regional Health Ministry (RHM), and provides direct oversight for contract administration. Manages the capital equipment planning, sepcification development and coordinates with Trinity Health Supply Chain Management leadership in efforts to coordinate the supply chain management function throughout Trinity Health.
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of industry-associated purchasing , supply management, accounts payable, and financial analysis, as normally obtained through a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and between 5 and 7 years of supply chain experience, at least 2 years of which must have involved management/supervisory duties.
Must demonstrate analytical ability and possess a comprehensive knowledge of basic data analysis and communication tools including Excel, Access and Word. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership enviornment. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Mercy Medical Center and Trinity Health.
