The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in clinical/counseling psychology with an anticipated start date of August 2018.


Doctoral degree in clinical/counseling psychology, social work or related field preferred.  ABD candidates may be considered, but the doctoral degree must be conferred within two years of the start of the initial contract.   Applicants must have taught (or be in the process of teaching) at least two undergraduate classes. Demonstration of scholarly productivity through presentations and/or publications is required. One year of applied clinical or counseling experience is required. Preference for teaching undergraduates preferred.  Please respond to all required qualifications in your application.


This position will include teaching undergraduate courses in clinical/counseling psychology,  research methods, general psychology and other areas related to the candidate’s expertise; initiating a program of scholarly and/or professional activity (preferably involving undergraduate students); engaging in academic advising; and participating in service activities.


The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, founded in 1866, enrolls about 8,000 students in 42 baccalaureate and 6 master's programs.
