Westmark Enterprises has an outstanding full-time opportunity for a First Officer to join our well-established IS-BAO Stage II corporate flight department.
Westmark Enterprises is headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa and provides administrative and support services, including flight operations, to affiliated companies including Kendall Hunt Publishing. As a mid-sized dynamic organization, we work very closely and interact regularly with all levels of management and employees in all of our companies.
About the Job
This position is full-time with benefits and presents a unique opportunity to join our well-established IS-BAO Stage II corporate flight department based in Dubuque, Iowa. Overall responsibilities include assisting the Captain with the operation of the aircraft using standard operating procedures, including pre- and post-flight duties and responsibilities. Additional administrative tasks are required. A bachelor’s degree is required with an aviation focus a plus.
Also essential to success are attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within our group of companies, as well as proven critical thinking, problem solving, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
Required Certifications, Ratings and Licenses
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Multi-Engine Rating
- Instrument Rating
- Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Current United States Passport
- Government Issued Picture Identification
Preferred Flight Experience and Qualifications
- 1,500 total flight hours
- 500 hours multi-engine aircraft
- Turbine aircraft experience a plus
