The John Deere Dubuque Works is one of the key facilities in Deere & Company's Construction and Forestry (C&F) Division. The Dubuque Works manufactures backhoe loaders, crawler dozers, and skid steer loaders for the construction industry and knuckleboom loaders and tracked feller bunchers for the forestry industry. The Dubuque Works also serves as the Center of Excellence for the C&F Division in the areas of Product Engineering, Product Verification and Validation, Supply Management, and Product Support which includes the Dealer Technical Assistance Center. From a manufacturing perspective, the core competencies of the factory include plate and sheet cutting, machining, welding, paint, and assembly.

John Deere Dubuque Works is seeking qualified candidates in our skilled trades classifications. Candidates should possess a Master Plumber’s License, a Journeyperson’s Card or 8 years of equivalent industrial experience
Industrial pipefitting/plumbing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting/repair of factory pipe systems, such as water, gas, oil, sewer, washroom, and toilet facilities.
- Experience with installation, inspection, maintenance, adjustment, and troubleshooting/repair of all types of HVAC, refrigeration equipment, temperature and pressure controls, low and/or high pressure steam systems, and general service plumbing.
- Experience with operation, installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting/repair of Waste Water Treatment and/or Water Distribution and Treatment systems.
- Certifications and licensing in these areas preferred
