So what exactly will you do? You will be responsible for application of all systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. You will be the one developing, designing, and maintaining database dashboards through SQL and Excel in concert with the many third party vendors we use. You have to be able to run import/export processes between various accounting/back office solutions and this position is an integral part of all financial reporting processes. Finally, you are the go-to person for management of the company's database infrastructure, to include backing up data, managing configurations, and upgrading systems.
Successful candidates will possess an Associate's Degree (either two year college or technical school) in Computer Science, Networking, or a similar field is required. You will have two or more years of experience in data mining, two or more years of experience in system administration and we prefer you have four or more years in a data analyst role.
As for your computer skills we require you to have extensive experience with VMware, Windows Server and Workstation Operating Systems, extensive experience with Excel, SQL and database management and advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
This job of course has physical requirements. You’ll need to be able to climb a ladder without assistance, crouch and kneel under workstations, and be able to drive and ride in a company vehicle for extended distances. You will normally work in a sedentary office environment with normal office noise levels. Occasionally, you may work in warehouses with loud noise levels, so you’ll need to be able to wear hearing protection. You also may be required to work in a retail setting with normal noise levels.
