Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) serves the transfer, career and technical education needs of our region’s residents, businesses and industries in a district area that encompasses eight counties and approximately 5,000 sq. miles. Must possess an AAS degree in Machining Technology, and/or at least 3 years (6,000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience as a CNC programmer/machinist. Qualified candidates will have experience with manual and CNC machining equipment. Setup, operation and programming skills are a must. Experience in automated manufacturing, tool & die, and mold making are a huge plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate and report student performance and progress in all lab work in accordance with NICC policies and procedures. Must possess the skills to analyze and determine students’ program training needs. Must possess the mentoring skills to help students from all various CNC programs gain the competencies required to successfully complete designated program.
