Workers' Compensation Assistant

PSSI, Kieler, WI

To be qualified to perform a Workers’ Compensation Assistant job duties, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Claim Organization
    • Understand and set up new claims daily
    • Investigate new claims by assessing and determining question to ask
    • Manage multiple claim files daily and in a timely manner
    • Maintains Work Comp Folders & Calendar so claims keep moving and employee’s get proper care needed
  • Claim Advocate
    • Make follow up calls with team members within 24 hours of the incident unless other specifications are noted
    • Continue to be the person the team member can trust and relate to in order to effectively advocate for the team member
  • Support and Embrace Company Programs and policies including but not limited to:
    • Triage Now
    • Claim Advocate Program
    • Return to Work Program
    • Safety Programs
    • Employee Retention Program
  • Other Duties as assigned
