Dubuque Finley Hospital
As an inpatient hospital pharmacy technician working the weekend package, you will be working under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service. Duties will include completing new admission med reconciliation on patients rotating with the regular inpatient pharmacy duties.
Required Qualifications: Pharmacy Tech registration required in the state of Iowa. Must be able to understand and apply basic computer skills and record data accurately. Must understand Pharmaceutical calculations. Must have understanding of basic Pharmacy law and protocols. Must communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external departments, physician’s offices and participants. Must be able to make outbound and take inbound calls from patients, vendors and medical personnel. Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Must be able to adapt and change with pace of work flow.
