Position Hours: M-F 9am-4:30pm (10 - 7 hour day shifts)
Serve as Medical Staff Services Assistant providing administrative support for all activities of the Medical Staff Office. Work closely with the Medical Staff Coordinator, President of the Medical Staff and other members of the Medical Staff Executive Committee as well as hospital administration and other department directors/managers. Responsible for processing physician and allied health recredentialing, department and committee meeting management. Work collaboratively with Quality Services staff to facilitate ongoing performance evaluations.
Associate degree or level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a two year period of specialized training, i.e., business/communication field, secretarial training. A minimum of 1-2 years related healthcare experience preferred Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and MS Outlook; familiarity with credentialing databases (i.e. Morrisey) preferred. Typing skills (50 wpm).
